Model Railroad Scenery Consultant for Hire
Artisan with more than 30 years of experience and talents will bring your model railroad to the next level you never thought was possible. Serving the Northeast since 1998.

A model railroad should tell a story about ourselves. Most times, it's places we've visited, or grew up in. And then, there are places we've seen just from photographs that inspire our dreams. This begins the "spark" of an idea to develop the theme for your model railroad.

I will guide you through this process.

For example:
My railroad is at this phase of development. At present, I'm creating a fictional contemporary New England shortline in Southern Vermont. Some aspects of the track plan will be a freelance version of actual places. Typical of the region, I will operate a fair share of first and second generation diesel locomotives and have at least two interchange points with larger Class I railroads. As things develop, I will add another page to my website on the progress of this project. With all good intentions, I hope to have this started by the spring of 2011. Stay in touch.

One of my areas of expertise is that I take the time and care to develop "your dream model railroad world".

As an accomplished scenery artisan, I will help you develop this transformation to your model railroad. This process is not put together through a Q&A sheet that I send you. It's done on a more personal basis, by having a series of conversations by phone and the written word.

When your layout needs the final details of realistic scenery and structure placement, call to discuss your project needs today.
